Our Story
From One Conversation to a Global Movement
It began during the COVID-19 lockdown, over one of those deep, heart‑to‑heart conversations my husband and I often share. He asked me a simple question: “How long have you actually been writing and editing?”
Interestingly, what first drew him to me—years before we ever met—were the thoughtful articles I consistently posted on my Instagram page. By the time we had that lockdown conversation, we both paused to count the years. To our surprise, I had already been writing and editing for over a decade, contributing to my brother‑in‑law’s magazine and several other publications.
Seeing the weight of that gift, he looked at me and said, “You have to use this to uplift many others.”
As a Life Purpose Mastery Coach and Business Strategist, he helped shape a structure around my passion. We prayed together for direction, and within days, God gave us both a name and a clear vision. BookSMART Global Publishing was born—again, through a heartfelt conversation.
That origin story is why we still begin every author relationship the same way: with a meaningful, person‑to‑person conversation. Whether you’re a first‑time writer or a seasoned author, we listen first.
